Hand
The hand is where precision matters most. Dr Melsom combines orthopaedic and microsurgical techniques to treat nerve compression, tendon problems, fractures, arthritis and complex soft-tissue injuries.
Wrist
From acute fractures to chronic instability and arthritis, wrist problems are assessed with careful examination and targeted imaging, with keyhole (arthroscopic) options where appropriate.
Elbow
Elbow pain commonly arises from tendon overload, nerve entrapment or injury. Most conditions respond to non-surgical care; surgery is offered when it is clearly the right next step.
Shoulder
Shoulder conditions are managed from first presentation to joint replacement — including arthroscopic repair of the rotator cuff and labrum, treatment of instability, and anatomic or reverse shoulder replacement.
